Morning Stretch with Fox
Lately I've been reminded of not only the importance of sitting with my breath, but also the importance of mindful movement. When life is hectic and stressful, our bodies tend to tighten up and retain the stress, resulting in tense, sore muscles. Long, slow stretches in the morning upon awakening and in the evening before bed help release the tension and keep us flexible. Animals seem to know this instinctively. And maybe we human animals know it too.
Perhaps stretching physically can also help remind us to stretch ourselves in other areas of life. To go out of our comfort zone and grow a little - creatively, spiritually, emotionally and compassionately. This little fox came today to remind us all....s-t-r-e-t-c-h!!!!
