Warhorse V: The Yearning

This is the fifth, a by far the largest painting in my series of Warhorse paintings.  Inspired by a Chinese horse statue from the Tang Dynasty, during the 7-8th century. "The Yearning" tells the story of strong connection, grounding and roots, and yet a desire to follow dreams, be free and fly.
